ABOUT ME
A little about myself
I have always loved travelling and learning languages, having lived first in the USA as an exchange student for a year when I was 16, then in London for 4 years in my late twenties and recently in Rome for a year. As a cinephile with an acting training and several courses on cinema (including dubbing, script writing, and directing), I am passionate about the entertainment industry and the art of storytelling.
I have been working as a bilingual copywriter and translator for more than 15 years for Brazil's most prominent advertising agencies (Africa, AlmapBBDO, SunsetDDB etc.) and their clients (Nestlè, Dove, IBM, etc.), which includes localizing creative material that is sent to international awards (Cannes Festival, One Show, etc.).
I have extensive experience doing transcreation and worked as a freelance linguist in the Brazilian Portuguese team of a leading streaming service for almost five years.
I have been collaborating as a copywriter/translator for Mastercard Regional through Anticipation Consultancy in Mexico for more than 6 years.
I have also collaborated as a simultaneous interpreter and copywriter in several of Mesa Company’s projects for clients such as Google Earth, Kellogg’s, Nestlé, Amaro and Pernod Ricard.
